Position Overview
l C programming language development of embedded systems
l Linux system software bring up
l Design, develop and debug device drivers in kernel and user space
l Full life-cycle systems software development in Linux environment
l Work collaboratively with test engineering to ensure best in class systems software reliability and performance
l Create implementation specifications, design documents and unit test plans
l Perform design an code reviews
l Demonstrate good judgement in selection methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
l Support other software development centers in several geographical sites
l Proactive communication inside product team
Successful candidates will have
l Master¡¯s degree in computer science, EE or related technical degree or equivalent work expereince
l Self-motivated
l Experience with several of the following:
l Development experience in
l Embedded OAM SW design: Configuration management, Fault management, Device management, Middleware
l Linux device driver development
l Embedded development in Linux OS
l Hardware bring up and debugging
l Multi-threaded programming in C or C++
l Experience and knowledge of the following is preferred
l Linux scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python)
l PowerPC or ARM processor architectures
l Source code control systems such as GIT
