The requirements on our products, from both existing and potential new customers, are currently very high and there is a huge demand of new features as well as higher capacity and performance. In addition to this our products will be key components in the next generation Packet Core Network (SAE/EPC).

 

In order to meet the demands above and to secure a continued success of the Company Packet Core products, we are expanding our Integration & Verification for product SAPC (Service Awareness Policy Control).

 

As a I&V engineer, your main responsibilities are to together with your team:

* Study requirement specifications and make time estimates regarding different activities during the development phase,

* Write test specifications and map them to related requirements,

* Review test specifications together with designers, system managers and others involved,

* Write test scripts and automate the execution of them,

* Execute test cases and document the results,

* Write trouble reports with relevant error logs attached,

* Find faults and verify corresponding corrections of the software.

* Ensuring the functionality and characteristics of a system on node level

* Responsible for lab HW configuration & maintenance.

* Other activities related to testing, such as test tool design, process design etc.

 

There will be opportunities to work in development, maintenance, as well as being involved in the new technology trial at customer site.

Experience/knowledge within the following areas is required:

* TTCN scripts knowledge is mandatory

* Test and verification methods

* Troubleshooting skills. Previous experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation

* TCP/IP knowledge and network tools.

* Knowledge of databases access languages: SQL, LDAP,..

* Advanced linux administrator and user skills.

* Knowledge of NSP/TSP or UNIX/LINUX (SUSE or SLES)

* C/C++ and/or advanced scripting programming (perl, python) on UNIX/Linux is required.

 

Experience/knowledge within the following areas is considered as a plus:

* GSN competence (system solutions and network setup)

* Good knowledge in GPRS and WCDMA systems.

* Good knowledge in EPC system architecture

* Has working experience in policy control

 

Qualification:

Preferably a Master of Science / Bachelor degree or equivalent in any of the following: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering
