The Network Engineer performs design, optimization and audit of a network to meet the customer requirements. The Network Engineer role is applicable for design & optimization of RAN, BBA, Transmission, Core, OM and Services Networks. The Network Engineer can be engaged in the whole process from pre-sales of services and networks to service delivery and acceptance.

The role is focused on executing design, audit and optimization services, where the network engineer is responsible for part of the solution and part of the service process. Hereby, the Network Engineer is responsible to keep time, performance and quality according to Company requirements and Customer contract.

 

Supporting for Company Broadband Products and solution, i.e. GPON, DWDM, SDH, Microwave etc.;

On site support, troubleshooting, implementation and rollout;

Perform intense testing to certify solutions are fit for deployment;

Standby for emergency;

Interact with external and internal customer(s) during various stages of design and solution testing;

Working with project manager to identify the scope of the work for projects, the potential risk of solution and identify, mitigate risks of proposed solution;

Knowledge transfer to other team members within the organization;

This position is based in Company, and will require significant travel. Part of the travel is international.

 

University degree in a relevant field (IT, Telecommunication)

Solid background and experience in data networking and/or telecom infrastructure;

Good networking knowledge of Ethernet/IP technologies, TCP/IP, Routing protocols;

Good knowledge in broadband access and/or optical transport territory, be familiar with one or more of the following technologies such as XDSL, FTTx, GPON, Microwave, DWDM, SDH, PDH are advantages.

Understanding of Telecom Operators networks, business needs and technology evolution

Good communication skill, willing to take the interface role to the customer in the project delivery stage.

Good command of English and Chinese (verbal and written)
