MPS Tier2 Support Engineer

Business Unit Support Solutions develops software-based solutions to support Company's customers to transform their network, enable and deliver multi-services to their customer's customers. Our solutions consist of Operations Support Systems and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS) as well as M-Commerce.
NPS (Near Product Services) is the unit in BUSS Development to provide superior product support and service. CHINA is one of NPS location unit.
NPS CHINA is looking for a MPS (Mobile Positioning System) support engineer who is obliged to be responsibe for following:
l Deal with customer support request according to the defined process
l Provide support in technical query and trouble shooting problems reported by customers
l Register trouble report towards R&D
l Take emergency duty and support on critical cases
l Summarize the problems founded and provide preventive action proposals
l Collect feedback from customer side and submit to R&D program to continue improving product
l Continuously update knowledge base
l Participate in FFI and FOA activities
l Provide on-site support when needed
l Support in serviceability and service preparation activities
Qualifications:
l BA+ telecom or computer science education background
l Experience in GSM/WCDMA/LTE core network and familiar with Map, Diameter protocols with good troubleshooting skill
l Experience in IODT/SI area with different vendors and familiar with E2E test
l Good with linux/Solaris OS, Oracle/Timesten,TCP/IP and etc
l Good trouble shooting skill
l Frequent oral and written English
l Good communication and team work
l Be able to work under pressure
l 2 years+ working experience
l Customer support experience is preferred |
