By 2020, there will be 50 billion connections to the internet - anything that can benefit from an internet connection will be connected. We are already starting to see this today. But, it’s just the beginning.  Over the last 3-4 years Company has invested billions of dollars to move from a #1 position in Wireless Infrastructure (where we have >50% market share) to take claim as the #1 in Converged Infrastructure…end-to-end. There are a whole host of interesting challenges when creating a single, fully converged, infrastructure that handles everything. We are now looking for an Experienced Subject mater Expert, SME in for the Packet function area including IP and SDN technologies. Work tasks include:

·    Definition of new packet functionality

·    Supporting design organization continously

·    Support market activities as a technical lead in own area

·    Drive Performance & Scalability improvements in router products

·    End-to-end network scenario definition for proper interoperability

·    IPR, Standardization and Innovation

·    Prototype implementation

You should have/be:

·    A passion for packet functionality and data networks

·    Experience from design of packet features

·    Very strong analytical and logical skill

·    Strong ability to cooperate with peers.

·    Enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills

·    Strong soft skills for negotiation, influencing and decision making.

·    Open minded and willing to accept new challenges.

 

You should have the technical background of:

·    Master of Science Degree from Technical University

·    Extensive Programming experience, preferably 10+ years.

·    Extensive experience from IP and MPLS functionality and network design

·    Some experience from SDN

·    Broad R&D working experience is an advantage i.e. test, SW design, System Design etc
