The candidate will be involved in agile team for function testing of Company IP Transport Network Management System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·    Work with agile development team to deliver new function

·    Working with design team, product owner to understand system requirements and behavior

·    Developing test plans, test cases and review them within the team & other groups

·    Design, build, implement test beds and test environment

·    Execute test cases manually & automate test cases using automation tools

·    Ensure that the product meets the specifications and quality

 

·    More than 2 years of software/system testing in network management/element management system / node element testing (NMS/EMS software design background is also Ok)

·    Good understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, SDH, SONET, UDP, SNMP, and PPP protocols

·    Programming experience (Java, Ruby) and scripting experience (one or more of Perl, Tcl, Expect, Shell, XML, YAML) is preferred

·    Hands on experience in IP & experience in routing, bridging & B-RAS. Good knowledge in traffic generators and related networking skills

·    Strong analytical skills in problem solving and end to end network/system trouble shooting

·    Working knowledge of various operating systems and server administration (Linux/Windows/Solaris/HP-UX)

·    Good understanding of Postgre database and SQL knowledge

·    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

·    Working knowledge of Agile and Streamline software development methodologies

·    Strong team player, solid work ethic, having a passion to meet and exceed in assigned tasks and to deliver on time

·    Highly motivated, fast learner, with positive attitude and capable of adapting to change and continuous improvement

·    Bachelor or above in telcom or EE
