Staff Verification Engineer (GCF/PTCRB)

PURPOSE OF JOB:
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
To ensure SoMC products can be qualified with GCF/PTCRB certification and launch to market smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Be responsible of executing Protocol and SIM/ME interface conformance testing for SoMC products.
2. Responsible of analyzing and reporting issues during testing.
Responsible of communicating and cooperating with R&D to fix issues.
3. Maintain related testing equipments and troubleshooting test system issues.
4. Tracking and studying test speciation and GCF/PTCRB requirements and apply related knowledge to daily working.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
1. Be Bachelor or Master Degree of Telecommunication or Computer Science.
2. Good knowledge on mobile telecommunication technologies (GSM/UMTS/LTE/etc).
Having protocol testing experiences and know how to using related testing equipments are preferred.
3. Good English speaking, writing, reading and listening.
4. Self-driven, results-oriented, able to work under high pressure.
Other Having SW or HW development experiences (VC++,VB, Java, PCB design) are preferred.
