OMV Staff/Senior Verification Engineer

PURPOSE OF JOB:
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
Take verification technical lead on mobile phone software system test and automatic test.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. New android technology research and communicate with Lund/Tokyo/Beijing SW product launch departments to find new improvement area
2. Requirement analysis to define new test strategy and generate risk analysis report before test execution and propose new test tool requirement for tool R&D team.
3. Test environment including automatic test, test data analysis set up, usage and maintenance for the responsible test areas.
4. Project management for new Test case design, log analysis and troubleshooting to secure project quality in CDF/FOTA test area.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
1.
l Bachelor/Master degree in Telecom, Computer Science or related.
l SW development/verification knowledge on mobile phone platform, Linux/Java based SW experiences. At least 8 years experience in relevant fields.

l Strong technical skills on Android Application verification
l Excellent skills of analysis and solving technical issues
l Strong ability of coordination/presentation.
l Strong skills on troubleshooting and issue root cause analysis;
l Deep analysis for the relationship between CDF and SW;
3.
l Strong skills of teamwork and cooperation.
l Good English communication skills
l R&D of test tool or automation test experience is a plus;
l Having SW development experiences (VC++,VB, Java, Python) are preferred. |
