RAT Staff Verification Engineer, Software

PURPOSE OF JOB:
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
The RAT (Radio Access Technology) team is looking for a senior test engineer with dynamic, motivated and can-do attitude. The successful candidate will work within a SW highly technical test team to help ship the best in class wireless devices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Modem RIL feature and focus test and troubleshooting
2. NS IOT Lab test and troubleshooting
3. NS IOT Field test and troubleshooting
4. Global RAT support test and troubleshooting.
5. China operator related engagement activity. Vendor management.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
1. Excellent knowledge working with Android, Linux kernel, Qualcomm modem
2.Familiarity with cellular protocols such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE/CDMA2000/TD-SCDMA.
3. Knowledge of industry standard cellular protocol software testing and carrier certification.
Other
Good English verbal and writing skills are needed as we work in a Global organization.
Good skills/interests in platform development/debugging, working closely and together with the developer team.
Good communication skills and a great team player (Teamwork and building relationship). |
